I can’t tell you how many times a week I have to tell my kids to stop watching YouTube videos, put down the iPad and Smartphones, and do their homework; although I’m quite sure they can tell you (they’re probably keeping score on some app). So, surprisingly, I’m going to recommend that YOU go checkout Inteplast Building Products’ YouTube channel where you’ll find amazingly creative projects, practical tips, and DIY resources to help inspire your own unique home renovation or design endeavors, like their popular video on using PVC beadboard and moulding to makeover a lackluster laundry room. And, each one of their videos gives you installation instructions and material lists to make your project a smooth and easy one.
If you are a flea market buff like I am, and have an eye for scoping out outdated pieces of furniture and turning them into fun, functional, works of art, then you’ll want to check out this video on dressing up furniture with moulding. Another great find at flea markets or yard sales are old mirrors. We even have a video on how to frame out a plain mirror with prefinished moulding from Inteplast.
One of the quickest ways to make a dramatic visual impact on a room is with finishing details like adding decorative moulding trim to doors, and even windows. Inteplast Building Products offers easy-to-install door trim kits, along with this online installation video. As you’ll see when you watch the video, hosts Molly and Joe talk about the two different door trim kit options that Inteplast offers. They come in a fluted casing kit and a 356 casing kit. Each one has both a standard and a premium kit. The standard kit comes with the blocks at the top, and the premium kit has blocks at the top and plinth blocks at the bottom to give your door trim a solid look at the base. What makes this project so easy for even the most beginner DIYer is that everything you need comes in the kit, and it’s all prefinished and ready to use. AND only straight cuts are needed, so forget about those miter cuts.
For the more advanced DIY experts, you can find videos on installing Inteplast’s hidden fastening deck systems, deck preparation video, and deck fascia installation. These are just some of the great video tutorials you can find on the Inteplast YouTube channel.
